NetNewsWire/Marsedit/Wordpress.com Link blog

07 November 2005

Well, I had an unused wordpress.com blog and a morning free to do some applescripting so I knocked up a quick script to take the current post I am reading in NetNewsWire and post it (via Marsedit) to my wordpress.com blog – (davidsmalley.wordpress.com)

The script does a few cool things, like autoformatting the title of the post, truncating the post body to 120 characters and including a “read more” link at the bottom. You can download the script (its in a very rough and ready form!) from this site – Linkblog.zip

I’ve put a link to my link blog at the bottom of the category list just in case anyone is interesting in what I’m reading.
