In Starbucks once again...

01 September 2006

I’m sat in the Starbucks by Liverpool Street Station again, and I’ve just realised that this was the place I made my last blog entry from…over one month ago!

I’m down for BarCampLondon, which starts tomorrow at the Yahoo! UK offices. Should be fun.

I’ve knocked up a Keynote on what I’m going to present, it was a last minute idea that I came up with on the train down today so I’m sure that there are going to be loads of inaccuracies in what I talk about, but never mind…

I missed Starbucks and Coffee Beans! After my iBook G3 died on August 22, I have lost all my mobility. Enjoy your Starbucks. I hope I will soon regain my mobility with a new Mac Book but I doubt it will be soon enough.

Hey Adrian, at least you might get one of the new CoreDuo2 processors if you're ordering now! Other laptop manufacturers have started including these chips so I'm sure Apple will any time now. Enjoy your new Macbook when it arrives, I defintely appreciated the upgrade from a G3 iBook (I have a Macbook Pro)

Hi David, I am a little skeptical about Mac Book and Mac Book Pro. I did not read much good things about them. I read they suffer from heating problem. What is your experience with Mac Book Pro? I used my iBook all day long most of the time. The heat could be a contributing factor for its short life. I've ordered Mac Mini for my desktop (I always wished to have an Apple for my desktop so that I could alternate the use of desktop and laptop) but I have to put Mac Book or Mac Book Pro on hold. Firstly, I have not enough budget and secondly, my skeptic. Perhaps, when Apple releases CoreDuo2 for its laptop, things will work better. And Apple may release CoreDuo Extreme.
